About Us

The Colorado HEARTH Fund defends the values of the homeschool and Christian community. We provide information to citizens who will support candidates committed to promoting freedom and morality in government. Our Principles of Freedom are the values that guide the Colorado HEARTH Fund.

Home educators are revitalizing the home.

This simple truth has just begun to impact our culture at this very strategic point in history. So much is constantly changing. Only the stability of the family, as God designed it, can help successfully guide us through these challenging times.

The Colorado HEARTH Fund was created to defend the interests of the homeschool and Christian community by promoting public policy and candidates that defend the values of these communities.

There is a battle going on for the heart and soul of our land. The families who represent the foundational strength of the nation must stand up for those core values that will ensure that future generations enjoy the continued bounty and blessing that have been ours through God's grace.

As homeschooling families, it is imperative that we become actively involved in the election process.

We must elect legislators who will honor the family unit and recognize parental authority and responsibility. They must uphold our liberty, preserve the sanctity of life, and strive to limit the intrusive growth of government into our individual lives and our families.

The HEARTH Fund was founded in 2004 by Representative Kevin Lundberg. Joining him in this endeavor are Brent Campbell, and Dennis and Meredith Crumb. The HEARTH Fund also has a Board of Reference. The Board of Reference endorses the general principles and goals of the Colorado HEARTH Fund, but is not responsible for individual decisions or actions of the Colorado HEARTH Fund. The members of this Board are: William Armstrong, John Andrews, Treon Goossen, Kevin Lundberg, Bob Schaffer, Dave Schultheis, and Kevin Swanson.
