Kyle Fisk Personal Letter

Home / HEARTH Fund Page Directory / Archives / Candidate Profiles 2006 / ** Kyle Fisk ** ELECTED!
Dear HEARTH Fund Members,

My name is Kyle Fisk and I'm a product of the home school movement and was home educated from 2nd Grade through high school. As the next state representative from House District 18 I'll vigorously defend the rights of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children.

Parents have a God-given responsibility to raise their children in accordance with their worldview. My wife and I just had our first child, a little boy named Dean. I've acquired a newfound respect for the role of moms and dads; I'm the one that will be held responsible for my son's education and upbringing. I'm the one that God has called to raise my little boy; it's me and my wife's job, not the governments.

I have staunchly defended the moral values that are foundational to a biblical worldview. I organized a pilot project for the Republican National Committee to show the importance of the pro-life platform and message for mobilizing voters. I've represented the National Association of Evangelicals at the Arlington Group, a coalition formed for the purpose of passing a Federal Marriage Amendment. I've been involved in the Colorado Marriage Amendment since its inception and helped draft the final language.

My track record speaks for itself and my commitment to you is steadfast. By the grace of God I will be a legislator that stands for our values and advances the cause of Christ in our generation. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions or speak with any of you one-on-one. My cell phone is 719-232-0937, call me anytime.

I would be honored to have your support during this campaign. Your prayers and encouragement are greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,

Kyle Fisk, Candidate
House District 18
