Vic Mitchell and Amy, his wife of 15 years, chose Colorado as their home in which to raise their children. Along with an outdoor lifestyle, strong values placed on honesty, integrity and compassion form the foundation for their active family of five.

Vic has a 20 year long, distinguished business career. He started simply: running a limousine service while in college to support himself and his legally blind mother. And just two years ago he sold his fifth successful business, a nationwide communications company named Advantage Wireless.

His efforts have been recognized frequently, including the Denver Chamber of Commerce's prestigious "Colorado Small Business of the Year Award" and the Denver Business Journal's "top 40 under 40" listing of local business leaders. Nationally, the Business College of San Diego State University tapped Vic to serve on it's Board of Directors in recognition of his financial and entrepreneurial expertise.

Vic is a lifelong Republican and now serves on the Board of Directors of the Leadership Program of the Rockies, a Denver institute training business people and Republicans to be effective "doers" in their communities. Vic and Amy are both members of the Douglas County Republican Chairman's Club, the major fundraising arm of the county party.

Candidate Mitchell is Republican Candidate for State Legislative House District 45 covering South Douglas County and Teller County.
