Mary Lynn Wagner and her husband are in their 35th year of marriage! She's a Mom of three well adjusted, compassionate, good citizens of Colorado and the Grandma of 5 little wonders, all of whom she's taught to read and write, and have good manners, before they were of school age. She will be the Grandma of number 6 soon.
She and her husband, their three children, a cat with an attitude, and a Samoyed, moved to Colorado from her birth place, lovely Hawaii, in 1983. They packed up our lives into 35 boxes and came to gorgeous Colorado and fell in love with this wonderful state! Her family are outdoorsy people already teaching their grandkids to hike and horseback ride in Colorados beautiful, rugged terrain. Mary Lynn loves to fish also, but usually doesnt catch anything except maybe an old shoe or submerged tree limb. She's really discovered how cold Colorados rivers can be as she relentlessly try to unsnag her hooks.
She has been a teacher for 25 years and has taught everything from Kindergarten through 10th grade. When a student needed that extra help to catch up, she'd come in early or stay late. She's a motivator and enjoys helping students reach their personal best!
In her 25 years, she's never had a student fail! She just works with them until they have conquered the problem. Although she enjoys teaching, her greatest personal honor was getting to sing our National Anthem at the Sarah Palin rally at Jefferson County Fairgrounds, Sept.14th.
Mary Lynn is running because she is committed to not only making our district and Colorado, a better place to live, but to help us return to the values of our Founding Fathers. She wants to help secure a good future for her children, grandchildren, and the wonderful people of our state!
Sincerely,
Mary Lynn Wagner
