Kevin Swanson

Kevin Swanson was home schooled for all 12 years (less one), while his parents served as missionaries in Japan in the 60's and 70's. Four years after entering a California state university, he was elected student body president by a student body of 17,000.
Since graduating with a degree in engineering, he has been active in corporate management, church leadership, he has written several books, including, "The Second Mayflower," and "Upgrade - the Ten Secrets to the Best Education for Your Child." He ran in several campaigns for political office in Colorado, including a 1994 Governor race. He is married to Brenda and they are home schooling their own five children on the plains of eastern Colorado. Today he serves as Executive Director of Christian Home Educators of Colorado and hosts a daily radio program. He has been interviewed on Focus on the Family, the Home Education Network, as well as hundreds of other radio and television stations around the United States.
